You will not have breakthroughs & reach your end goal if you choose a yes person, that just tells you what you want to hear, versus what you need to hear. An advisor is different from a coach, they provide a higher level of knowledge & expertise. Having strategic unbiased business & life advice is priceless. The final choice of implementing the recommendations is up to you. Clients receive more value than coming to their own conclusions or just listening to themselves talk. When individuals are in difficult situations they can not always see the macro perspective or possible outcomes, options, or solutions. The more you are in the minutia of dealing with complex situations, the higher your stress level goes up. This impedes your ability to see with clarity and collapse timeframes. It is important to remember you are co-designing a deeply trusted partnership. Recall a strong positive solid relationship you currently hold in your life. Research has proven personality matches (based on Myers-Briggs indicators) are not as consequential in the selection process on how you choose your advisor. Having a clear, concise working alliance & plan is the most important aspect to both the advisor & advisee. This mutual investment & commitment to your overall success is the most important factor to yield positive outcomes. Clients should choose an advisor that feels right in terms of trust, philosophy & methodology. Determine how you will be supported in your future growth as an individual, team, or organization.   • What timeframe can you expect to render results?
    Timelines are different for everyone depending on your personal pace or organizational objective. Progress depends on your commitment level and how fast you choose to implement your personalized action plan. We customize plans to collapse your timeframes.   • What length of time should you be advised?
    The length of an advisory partnership varies depending on the level of the individual's commitment or a team's requirements & preferences. High-intensity advising is focused on three to six months of work to achieve results. Individuals may find it beneficial to work with an advisor for years depending on their long-term goals or objectives. There are various factors that may impact the length of time: the complexity of issues, goals, the way an individual or team prefers to work, the frequency of sessions & financial resources available to support your coaching efforts.
  • How are Advisory Services Measured?
    Advisory services are measured in two distinct ways: We incorporate both types of metrics, external & internal indicators. These are based on performance, success, and results. a) External measurement: Includes achievement of goals established at the outset of the advisory relationship, increased income/revenue, obtaining a promotion, performance feedback that is obtained from a sample of the individual's constituents (e.g., direct reports, colleagues, clients, boss, the manager him/herself), personal and/or business performance data (productivity, efficiency measures). The external measures selected are aspects the individual is currently measuring & has some ability to directly influence the metrics. b) Internal measurement: Includes self-awareness, self-scoring, self-validating assessments that can be administered initially and at regular intervals in the coaching process. This reviews changes in the individual's self-care regime, self-awareness, shifts in mindset that create more effective actions & changes in one's emotional state to inspire confidence.
